The needs of former foster youth
Research shows that young adults rely on their parents and families for emotional and, often times, financial support until they are 26. Fostering Success and Significance walks alongside former foster youth who may not have this kind of support. For over a decade, we have helped our students navigate their college years with financial, emotional, and educational aid which greatly increases their ability to graduate.

Financial support
We budget $10,000 per student we serve throughout their lifetime in the program. This accounts for direct and indirect costs of running our program. We currently serve 40 students. Your generosity will directly impact the students in our program and support their success. Donations are used to support learning through trainings and reading material, financial support through scholarships and to pay for indirect costs, like the administration of programs. Your one time or recurring gift will make a direct impact to local former foster youth.
Time, Talent, Treasure
With your support, the students in our program will have access to financial resources, educational support, mental health professionals, and they will be connected to a caring advocate who will walk through these years with them. We believe this support is a game changer in the lives of our students as they accomplish their goals.

We are firm believers that when we all work together, success happens. Everyone can play a role in the lives of these students and our programs seek to build relationships between all involved. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these exceptional students.
